One of Chase’s most overlooked cards for awhile was the Chase Hyatt Visa. Even as late as this past September, you received a sign-up bonus of 2 Free Nights at ANY Hyatt after your first purchase. No spending threshold + great sign-up bonus = AWESOME. There was a $95 annual fee (not waived), but let’s see what type of value the 2 Free Nights + $95 got us:
That’s $1,060 value for $95! Since Liz and I both signed up for the Chase Hyatt, we are staying at this 5-Star hotel for 4 nights for only $190. Smoking a cigar while drinking Malbec and enjoying the “inside park” is quite a phenominal experience.
The Chase Hyatt card also comes with Hyatt Platinum status, and while I would have preferred if it came with free breakfast, it does get you free internet (~$13/day savings).
The Chase Hyatt card now comes with a minimum spend of $1,000
